Weather Alert – Strong Thunderstorms Accompanied by Gusty Winds

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued an orange-level weather alert, warning of strong thunderstorms accompanied by local gusty winds, starting at 11:00 PM on Monday.

These weather disturbances are expected to affect several provinces, including:

• Midelt
• Khénifra
• Ifrane
• Béni Mellal
• Taourirt
• Jerada
• Taza
• Guercif

The Directorate urges citizens to exercise caution, particularly in mountainous or low-lying areas that may experience local flooding, and to avoid taking risks in hazardous locations during the period of these weather disturbances.
