IMPORTANT / Ministry of National Education Announces New Changes to Baccalaureate and Primary Exam Dates

The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports has announced a new revision to the schedule of standardized exams for the current academic year, as per a ministerial decree signed by Minister Mohamed Saad Barada, which takes effect immediately upon signature.

According to the decree, the adjustment affects the dates previously set out in an earlier decree No. 016.24, issued on July 3, 2024. New dates have been established for some key assessment stages in both primary and upper secondary education.

As stipulated in Article 1 of the new decree, the regional standardized exam for obtaining the Primary Education Certificate will take place on June 23 and 24, 2025. Meanwhile, the deliberations for the regular session of the national standardized baccalaureate exam will be held on June 13 of the same year.

Article 2 of the decree states that these amendments come into force from the date of signing, requiring regional academies, provincial directorates, and educational institutions to implement the new dates without delay.

This measure comes within the framework of a well-coordinated approach to managing the exam season, reflecting the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring the optimal organization of key assessments and the smooth conduct of national examinations.
