Agadir Police Successfully Arrest Main Suspect in Vehicle Assault Case

In an immediate and successful security operation, police officers from Agadir Security Prefecture managed to apprehend the main suspect in a case involving public disorder and violence related to the use of a vehicle, where authorities arrested a 32-year-old individual following a hit-and-run incident in which a motor vehicle was used to assault another person.

According to preliminary data, the dispute began among a group of people at a fast-food restaurant in downtown Agadir on Sunday, May 25th, before the situation escalated to physical violence and the driver using his car to run over one of the parties involved in the conflict. Police quickly intervened and arrested three individuals suspected of being connected to this incident.

Investigations and field research continued within the framework of this case until the identity of the main suspect was established and he was arrested in one of the city’s neighborhoods while intoxicated, alongside the seizure of the light vehicle used in the incident. An examination of the vehicle was conducted, which revealed evidence of impact.

The victim is currently under medical supervision at Agadir Regional Hospital, while the main suspect is being held in police custody. Authorities have handled the other detainees through judicial investigation procedures conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, with the aim of uncovering all details and circumstances of this case and verifying the criminal acts attributed to the suspects.
