During the ordinary session of May 2025, members of the Fez Municipal Council elected Mr. Youssef El Kholani as the new secretary of the council on Friday, May 2, filling the previously vacant position.
El Kholani’s election came after securing an absolute majority during the vote for the council secretary, and he immediately resigned from his previous position as deputy secretary, in accordance with the council’s internal regulations.
This appointment takes place within a session that features extensive discussions on a packed agenda, with important topics such as urban transport, relocation of slum residents, and national and international partnership programs.
