The Anti-Gang Unit of the Fez Security Directorate successfully apprehended three individuals on Friday, January 31, suspected of involvement in the possession and distribution of hard drugs. The suspects, aged between 25 and 43, all have prior criminal records.
The arrest took place while the suspects were caught in the act. A search operation led to the seizure of 142 grams of hard drugs, two electronic scales, a dose of “Pufa” drug, three mobile phones, and a sum of money suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking. Additionally, a utility vehicle believed to have been used in this criminal activity was confiscated.
The suspects have been placed under judicial custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecution to further investigate the case, uncover potential criminal networks linked to the operation, and identify other possible accomplices.
