Currently, the city of Fes is hosting a workshop to analyze the situation and implement the regional action plan for child health for individuals under 18 years old, as part of the national integrated child health policy. The workshop, organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), will take place over two days, December 19 and 20, 2024.
The workshop aims to discuss the health status of children in the Fes-Meknes region and identify the priorities and necessary actions to improve healthcare for the targeted age group.
This initiative is part of the implementation of the national integrated child health policy, which aims to provide comprehensive healthcare for children from pregnancy through to 18 years old. The workshop serves as a platform for sharing experiences and offering practical solutions to enhance the healthcare services available to children, with a focus on disease prevention and improving access to healthcare in both urban and rural areas.
