FEZ – Local authorities in the Administrative District of Oued Fez Al Marja launched a large-scale campaign on Monday, December 2, 2024, to remove unauthorized sun shelters and clear public property from various forms of illegal occupation.
The campaign, carried out by local authorities with the support of public forces, included evacuating main streets and alleys in Al Marja neighborhood and its adjacent areas from street vendors, as part of efforts to organize public space and ensure smooth traffic flow.
A responsible source at the Administrative District confirmed that this campaign will continue in the coming days until achieving the desired objectives, as part of the commitment to enforce the law and improve the urban landscape in the area.
This initiative comes as part of a series of measures taken by local authorities to curb the phenomenon of illegal occupation of public property, which negatively affects the city’s aesthetics and hinders citizen mobility.
