Fes University to Host Celebratory Event Marking National Holidays and Strengthening Moroccan Identity

The Dr. Mohamed Yassaf Amphitheater at the Faculty of Sharia at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fes will host a celebratory event on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM, marking the commemoration of the three national holidays: the Return Day, the Revival Day, and Independence Day. This special event will bring together a series of academic and social activities under the theme “A New Era, Renewed Loyalty: For a Morocco of the Present and Future.”

The event is organized in coordination with the Faculty’s Deanship, in partnership with the Theater and Media Club of the Faculty of Sharia, the Regional Coordination of National Cooperation for the Fes-Meknes Region, the “Oufiya Al-Arach Al-Alawi Al-Majid” Association, and the Center for Studies and Research on Family and Women’s Issues. The aim is to instill values of loyalty and national belonging while strengthening social and cultural bonds across generations.

The event will feature a number of distinguished figures, including Dr. Mustafa Ajali, President of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Dr. Abdelmalek Aouich, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia, Dr. Hakima Hatri, Professor of Higher Education and Supervisor of the Family and Social Mediation Master’s Program, Dr. Hassan Othmani, Regional Coordinator of National Cooperation in the Fes-Meknes Region, Dr. Mohamed Ghazioul, Professor of Higher Education at the University, Mr. Youssef Khoulani, General Coordinator of the “Oufiya Al-Arach Al-Alawi Al-Majid” Association, and Dr. Amal Qasimi, Secretary-General of the Center for Studies and Research on Family and Women’s Issues.

This event will serve as an opportunity to unite around national values and reinforce Moroccan identity, connecting the rich past with the dynamic present while emphasizing the role of academic institutions in building a bright future for the Kingdom.
