Scientific Symposium on “National Sovereignty and the Crisis of Sustainable Development” Held at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University

Today, November 18, 2024, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez is hosting a scientific symposium titled “National Sovereignty and the Crisis of Sustainable Development.”

The event is organized by the Laboratory of Strategic Studies and Legal and Political Analysis at the Faculty of Legal, Economic, and Social Sciences, in collaboration with the Rabat El Kheir municipality.

The symposium sheds light on the intricate relationship between national sovereignty and sustainable development. It brings together a distinguished group of academics to discuss key topics related to developmental policies and strategies for bolstering national autonomy amidst ongoing global crises.

Among the notable participants is Dr. Mohamed Bouzlafah, Dean of the Faculty of Legal, Economic, and Social Sciences at Fez.

This event coincides with the commemoration of Morocco’s Independence Day, aiming to raise awareness about the critical role of national sovereignty as a cornerstone for achieving comprehensive and sustainable development. The symposium will be held at the Rabat El Kheir municipality, starting at 1:00 PM.
