The Moroccan city of Meknes witnessed a state of security alert following a concerning discovery during renovation work in one of its historic neighborhoods. Local authorities and security agencies declared a high state of alert after finding 17 cartridges of 7.62 mm caliber at the site of a demolished shack that had been housing a homeless person.
The incident occurred during ongoing maintenance and restoration work on the Ismaili Wall in the Rua neighborhood of the Olive district, historically known as the Ismaili Capital.
