Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez has once again achieved a major milestone, ranking as the top Moroccan university for the seventh consecutive year, according to the “Times Higher Education World University Rankings” (THE-WUR) for 2025, released on Wednesday, September 9, 2024.
This ranking is considered one of the most important global indicators of university performance, based on five key criteria: quality of teaching, research environment, research output, international outlook, and knowledge transfer.
This year’s ranking saw intense competition both nationally and internationally, with 2,092 universities from around the world participating, including 16 Moroccan universities (11 public and 5 private).
