During the regular session of the Zouagha District Council on September 6, 2024, chaired by Mr. Ismail Jai Mansouri, a heated debate emerged regarding budget management and contract implementation. Several council members expressed frustration over the president’s absence on multiple occasions and called for a more effective distribution of responsibilities among deputies and councilors.
One council member delivered a strong statement emphasizing the need to improve the council’s performance and to better activate committees for monitoring projects and addressing key issues.
The member pointed out a lack of communication with relevant authorities and delays in implementing decisions related to providing essential services to residents.
He also stressed the importance of prioritizing cleanliness, maintenance, and the upkeep of public spaces and recreational areas.
The session concluded with a message of loyalty and devotion to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, with hopes for continued coordination between all parties to improve living conditions and achieve the desired development in the district.
