Health unions have called for a strike on Wednesday April 24 and Thursday April 25 in all hospital establishments. This strike will be observed in all university hospitals, central management, regional delegations and health centers. However, the emergency and intensive care units are not affected.
This new protest moment was initiated following an urgent meeting held by the unions to denounce the government’s deaf ear to the demands of health professionals. This movement will continue until their grievances are fulfilled. They are demanding, among other things, an increase in the fixed salary and compensation for professional risks.
“Several meetings were held with the Ministry of Health and many commitments were made. However, Khalid Ait Taleb’s department refuses to make these agreements a reality,” the national health union underlined.
