The Aziz Akhannouch government recently announced its approval of a general increase in the salaries of employees in various sectors, aiming to support the purchasing power of citizens and improve living conditions.
According to multiple sources, this increase comes in response to the demands of labor unions aiming to improve wages and alleviate the tax burden on middle and low-income groups.
The government is currently engaged in discussions with representatives of labor unions to determine the expected increase value, with expectations that a final agreement on the increase value will be reached before the beginning of May.
The expected increase will include, alongside employees in various sectors, the minimum wage, with a significant rise expected to contribute to improving the financial situation of a wide segment of workers. The anticipated reforms also include a review of income tax brackets, aimed at reducing the tax burden on employees and workers.
