Local observers have reported “chaos and clear confusion” on the part of the organizing body, the Ministry of Agriculture, regarding the preparations for the 16th edition of the International Agriculture Exhibition in Meknes, scheduled to take place from April 22 to 28, 2024.
According to these sources, a giant billboard at the entrance to the exhibition grounds in Meknes incorrectly indicates the dates of the event, stating “from May 22 to 28, 2024” instead of the correct dates of April 22 to 28.
The sources also pointed out that the exhibition management has announced an increase in ticket prices for the public to 40 dirhams, up from 35 dirhams last year.
The same sources questioned the level of organization and management of the exhibition, especially as the date of its opening approaches, considering that this exhibition is one of the most important agricultural events in Morocco.
