Jérusalem / Téhéran – Les tensions entre l’Iran, Israël et les États-Unis se sont de nouveau intensifiées après la publication de plusieurs informations de presse américaines affirmant qu’Israël avait transmis à Washington des renseignements faisant état d’un nouveau projet iranien visant le président américain Donald Trump. Dans le même temps, Téhéran a averti qu’il répondrait directement à toute attaque contre ses infrastructures stratégiques, en précisant qu’Israël ferait partie des cibles de cette riposte.
Selon The Wall Street Journal et CNN, qui citent des sources américaines et israéliennes non identifiées, les services israéliens auraient partagé avec leurs homologues américains des renseignements indiquant qu’un plan iranien visant Donald Trump serait en préparation. D’autres sources affirment qu’une partie de ces informations avait déjà été détectée auparavant par les services de renseignement américains.
La Maison-Blanche n’a pas officiellement démenti ces informations, renvoyant aux déclarations de Donald Trump, qui a affirmé que l’Iran cherchait à le prendre pour cible et qu’il avait été informé que son nom figurait sur des « listes de personnes visées ».
Dans le même contexte, plusieurs médias américains ont indiqué que Donald Trump avait quitté le sommet de l’OTAN à bord de l’ancien avion présidentiel, plutôt que d’utiliser le nouvel appareil offert par le Qatar, invoquant des raisons de sécurité.
Ces développements interviennent alors que des divergences apparaissent entre Washington et Tel-Aviv quant à la stratégie à adopter face à l’Iran. Selon CNN, le moment choisi pour communiquer ces renseignements pourrait également refléter une volonté d’encourager l’administration américaine à poursuivre ses opérations militaires contre Téhéran.
De son côté, l’Iran a averti qu’il réagirait à toute attaque contre ses infrastructures vitales. Le président du Conseil suprême de sécurité nationale iranien, Mohammad Baqer Zolqadr, a déclaré, dans un communiqué diffusé par la télévision d’État, que son pays répondrait à toute agression visant ses installations stratégiques et qu’Israël « ne serait pas épargné » en cas d’escalade.
Cette montée des tensions intervient dans un contexte régional particulièrement sensible, marqué par les récents affrontements militaires entre l’Iran et Israël, ainsi que par la poursuite des tensions entre Téhéran et Washington, alimentant les inquiétudes de la communauté internationale quant au risque d’un conflit régional de plus grande ampleur.

Jerusalem / Tehran – Tensions involving Iran, Israel and the United States have intensified after U.S. media reports claimed that Israel had shared intelligence with Washington alleging a new Iranian plot targeting U.S. President Donald Trump. At the same time, Tehran warned that it would respond directly to any attack on its critical infrastructure, stressing that Israel would be among the targets of any retaliation.
According to The Wall Street Journal and CNN, citing unnamed U.S. and Israeli sources, Israeli intelligence recently informed American officials of intelligence suggesting that Iran was preparing a new plan targeting Trump. Other sources indicated that parts of this intelligence had already been identified independently by U.S. agencies.
The White House has not officially denied the reports, instead referring to previous remarks by President Trump, who said Iran was seeking to target him and that he had been informed his name appeared on what he described as “target lists.”
Separately, U.S. media reported that Trump departed the NATO summit aboard the older presidential aircraft rather than the new plane donated by Qatar, citing security considerations.
The reports come amid growing differences between Washington and Tel Aviv over how to manage the confrontation with Iran. CNN quoted U.S. sources suggesting that the timing of the intelligence disclosure may also have been intended to encourage the U.S. administration to continue military operations against Tehran.
For its part, Iran warned that any attack on its strategic infrastructure would trigger a direct response. Mohammad Baqer Zolqadr, head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said in a statement broadcast by state television that Iran would retaliate against any strike on its facilities and that Israel “would not be spared” if such attacks occurred.
The latest escalation comes against the backdrop of recent military confrontations between Iran and Israel, continued tensions between Tehran and Washington, and growing international concern that the situation could evolve into a broader regional conflict with significant implications for regional and global security.
