Rabat – L’élève Omar Dahab, âgé de 17 ans, a obtenu la meilleure moyenne au niveau national lors de la session ordinaire de l’examen national unifié du baccalauréat 2026, avec une note de 19,76/20 en filière Sciences mathématiques (option française).
L’élève brillant est inscrit dans un établissement scolaire privé relevant de la direction provinciale de l’Éducation nationale à Aïn Sebaâ–Hay Mohammadi, à Casablanca. Il a couronné plusieurs années de travail et de discipline par ce résultat qui le place en tête des lauréats au niveau national.
Dans une déclaration à l’Agence Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP), Omar Dahab a indiqué que l’annonce des résultats a constitué un moment exceptionnel pour lui, exprimant sa fierté face à cette réussite obtenue grâce à un travail continu tout au long de l’année scolaire, ainsi qu’au soutien de sa famille, de ses enseignants et de son environnement éducatif.
Concernant son avenir, le lauréat national a expliqué qu’il envisage de poursuivre ses études supérieures soit en médecine, soit en ingénierie, précisant qu’il se concentre actuellement sur ces deux domaines avant de prendre sa décision finale.
De son côté, Abdelrahman Lahlou, directeur de l’établissement scolaire, a salué cet exploit, estimant qu’il reflète le sérieux et la rigueur dont a fait preuve Omar Dahab tout au long de son parcours scolaire, ainsi que le rôle de la famille et du corps éducatif dans cette réussite.
Cet exploit intervient alors que la région de Casablanca-Settat a enregistré la réussite de 61 580 candidats scolarisés, avec un taux de réussite de 65,79 % lors de cette session du baccalauréat 2026.

Rabat – Student Omar Dahab, aged 17, achieved the highest national average in the 2026 ordinary session of the national baccalaureate exam, scoring 19.76/20 in the Mathematics stream (French option).
The outstanding student attends a private educational institution under the provincial education directorate of Aïn Sebaâ–Hay Mohammadi in Casablanca. He crowned years of hard work and discipline with this achievement, placing him at the top of all national candidates.
In a statement to the Maghreb Arab Press Agency (MAP), Omar Dahab said that the announcement of the results was a special moment for him, expressing pride in this achievement, which he attributes to continuous effort throughout the school year as well as the support of his family, teachers, and educational environment.
Regarding his academic future, the national top student said he is considering pursuing higher education in either medicine or engineering, noting that he is currently focused on both fields before making a final decision.
For his part, Abdelrahman Lahlou, the school principal, praised this achievement, stating that it reflects the seriousness and discipline demonstrated by Omar Dahab throughout his academic journey, as well as the contribution of his family and educational staff.
This achievement comes as the Casablanca-Settat region recorded 61,580 successful students, with a success rate of 65.79% in the 2026 baccalaureate ordinary session
