According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, temperatures are expected to rise, particularly over the Saïss plains, while unstable cloud formations may generate localized thunderstorms over the Middle Atlas Mountains, especially in the provinces of Ifrane and Boulemane. Weather conditions are expected to remain generally stable and sunny across most parts of the region.
Forecasts indicate that the cities of Fès and Meknès will experience hot conditions during the afternoon, with temperatures reaching around 37°C in Fès and 35°C in Meknès. Skies will remain clear to partly cloudy, accompanied by moderate winds. The UV index is expected to reach very high levels, prompting authorities to advise residents to avoid direct exposure to sunlight during peak daytime hours.
In the mountainous areas, particularly around Ifrane and the Middle Atlas, cumulonimbus clouds are expected to develop during the afternoon and evening, potentially bringing localized showers and scattered thunderstorms.
