Brussels – Morocco was crowned “Destination of the Year 2025” during the 25th edition of the prestigious Belgian “Travel Awards,” at a ceremony held on Friday evening, November 22, 2025, at the famous “Sky Hall” venue at Brussels International Airport.

Morocco was selected for this honor by a jury composed of more than 1,000 professionals in the Belgian travel and tourism sector, in recognition of the diversity, richness, and uniqueness of its tourism offering, the quality of services, and the exceptional visitor experience it provides.

The annual ceremony, organized by the TRAVelMedia BeLux Group, publisher of the specialized magazines TravMagazine BeLux and Travel360°, was attended by approximately 1,000 personalities from major Belgian professionals, agents, and tourism companies, where winners were announced in 36 categories for the 2025 awards.

This new honor is a qualitative addition to the series of international awards Morocco has garnered in recent years, confirming its position as a preferred global tourism destination for the Belgian and European market in general.

The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) had intensified its promotional campaigns in Belgium and Luxembourg during 2025, contributing to recording notable growth in the number of Belgian tourists arriving in the Kingdom.
