Consultative Meeting in Moulay Yacoub Launches “A New Generation of Integrated Territorial Development Programs”

The province of Moulay Yacoub witnessed a distinguished consultative meeting as part of the launch of the new generation of integrated territorial development programs, a national initiative aimed at reformulating the local development approach on more integrated and effective foundations, ensuring spatial justice and sustainability in development projects.

The meeting, which is part of a series of regional and national consultative meetings, aims to involve various local actors — including elected authorities, civil society, and economic actors — in formulating a shared development vision that responds to the priorities of the local population and aligns with national strategies.

Participants during this event, which was held during November 2025, focused on the importance of developing structured projects capable of strengthening infrastructure and supporting the local economy, while paying attention to vital sectors such as education, health, employment, and rural development.

These meetings are expected to contribute to the development of a provincial action plan emerging from a participatory vision, aimed at advancing the province of Moulay Yacoub as a model for integrated territorial development, in harmony with the objectives of the new generation of integrated territorial development programs supervised by the relevant authorities at the national level.
