The “Campus Mine Verte” project in Khouribga stands out as one of Morocco’s most significant academic and infrastructure achievements this year, reflecting notable progress in the national educational and technological landscape.
The project is scheduled to open in October 2025, with a capacity of 1,000 university beds and a total cost of approximately 2.85 billion Moroccan dirhams, managed as an extension of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.
“Campus Mine Verte” includes modern facilities centered around the 1337 School specialized in programming, fully equipped university residences, restaurants, and advanced sports facilities, providing an integrated educational environment that combines academic excellence, physical activity, and recreation.
The project aims to strengthen scientific research and innovation in technical and engineering fields, attract national and international talents, and support the labor market in emerging technological sectors. It also seeks to create a modern university space in the heart of Khouribga that connects education, technology, and quality living.
This project is distinguished not only by its advanced infrastructure but also by its forward-looking vision to transform Khouribga from a traditional mining city into a leading academic and technological hub, opening new horizons for Moroccan youth in programming, engineering, and innovation.
