On the occasion of the 26th anniversary of His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s ascension to the throne of his illustrious ancestors, the Royal Armed Forces family sent a message of loyalty and sincere congratulations to His Majesty, reaffirming the close bond between the military institution and the King.
The message, issued by all branches of the Royal Armed Forces—the land, air, and naval forces—as well as the Royal Gendarmerie, includes the following:
“Praise be to God, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of God, his family, and companions,
My Lord and Sovereign, the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces,
In the midst of the Kingdom’s joyous celebrations of the Glorious Throne Day, marking this year the 26th anniversary of Your Majesty’s enthronement upon the noble throne of your honorable ancestors, the Royal Armed Forces, in all its components, is honored to convey to Your Majesty, with humility and reverence, the highest expressions of congratulations and blessings, coupled with sincere pledges of loyalty and prayers for Your Majesty’s dignity, victory, and empowerment.
We seize this dear national occasion to renew our duties of obedience, loyalty, and fidelity to our Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff, bound by the sacred and firm pledge of allegiance to our Master, the Victorious by God’s grace, inspired by Your Majesty’s wise and insightful guidance, and under your righteous and prudent leadership, resolute in dedicating all we possess to defend the homeland, its territorial integrity, and its national constants.
My Lord Sovereign,
Your faithful servants—officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers—joining the entire Moroccan people in celebrating this joyful anniversary, convey to Your Majesty their profound gratitude and deep pride for the generous care and great attention that You bestow upon the Royal Armed Forces as a national institution drawing from the path of progress and development the Kingdom enjoys under Your glorious reign.
May God Almighty preserve You, O my Lord, as He has preserved His Glorious Scripture, grant You abundant blessings and clear victory, direct Your steps, and keep You a support and safe refuge for Your faithful people. May He bless Your life and grant You enduring health and happiness, and make Your eyes delighted with Your beloved Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Hassan, and strengthen Your support with Your brother His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, and all members of Your honorable Royal Family. Indeed, He is capable of all things and answerer of prayers.
Peace be upon Your Highness by God’s grace, along with God’s mercy and blessings.”
