A horrific murder disrupted the calm and peace of the New Neighborhood in Zouaga, Fez, on the evening of Saturday. A family man in his forties died in the intensive care unit of the Hassan II University Hospital in Fez, after sustaining fatal stab wounds earlier today.
According to available information, a young man identified as (F.A.), who also resides in the New Neighborhood in Zouaga, fatally stabbed a approximately 47-year-old man living in the same neighborhood.
The victim’s body was transferred to the morgue of Assani Hospital for a forensic autopsy, while the suspect was arrested minutes after committing the crime. Under the instructions of the competent public prosecution, the suspect has been placed under police custody pending further legal procedures.
Authorities continue their investigations to uncover the circumstances and motives of the incident, amid a state of sorrow and shock among the neighborhood residents.
