The Executive Committee of the Istiqlal Party affirmed that the major transitions and transformations taking place in Morocco cannot be derailed or halted by desperate attempts to undermine the nation’s core values and national constants, or to disrupt its symbols and constitutional institutions. The party condemned efforts to distract public attention with false issues, fabricate lies, and engage in misinformation aimed at obscuring the facts and overshadowing the successive achievements and gains made by the country.
This statement was issued following a meeting of the Executive Committee chaired by Secretary-General Mr. Nizar Baraka, during which political developments, parliamentary work updates, and the party’s organizational situation were discussed.
The committee praised the high vigilance demonstrated by Moroccan citizens in confronting and resisting these attacks, calling for continued strengthening of the internal front’s resilience and social cohesion, and urging collective unity around the nation’s constants, symbols, and the sanctity of its institutions.
The Istiqlal Party, through all its structures and members, reaffirmed its readiness to engage strongly and responsibly in all national initiatives aimed at safeguarding and fortifying the country, confronting all forms of targeting regardless of their source, and continuing to serve the just causes of the homeland and its people.
