Residents of Al-Wifaq Neighborhood in Fez Protest Nightly Water Outages

Fes News has received a complaint from a resident of the Al-Wifaq neighborhood, located along Safrou Road near the stadium in the city of Fez, reporting a recurring issue of nightly interruptions in access to drinking water. The problem, according to locals, has significantly affected their daily lives, especially during the current heatwave.

The citizen wrote in the message:

“We are among those affected. Every night, water is cut off in Safrou Road near the aviation area – Al-Wifaq neighborhood. We hope the authorities get this message. May God reward you.”

Several affected residents have expressed frustration over the lack of communication or prior notice from relevant authorities. They are calling for clear explanations regarding the repeated water cuts and urge immediate action to ensure consistent access to drinking water, a basic and essential life necessity.

Through this platform, residents appeal for an urgent response from the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water and local authorities in Fez, to address the issue and restore uninterrupted water supply.
