The General Directorate of Meteorology has forecasted that Tuesday, June 17, 2025, will generally be characterized by high temperatures in the northern and central interior plains, as well as the southeast and the Moroccan Sahara provinces.
The Directorate also announced the possibility of thunderstorm cells accompanied by rain showers over the High and Middle Atlas mountains, the Tadla and Rahamna plains, in addition to the phosphate plateaus and the eastern slopes of the High Atlas and the Rif mountains.
Meanwhile, the sky will be partly cloudy at times in the eastern region and other northern and central areas, with low clouds and local fog formations expected during the night and morning along the Mediterranean coast and the northern and central coastal plains, as well as the western parts of the southern provinces, where light rain drops are anticipated.
Regarding winds, the Directorate expects somewhat strong gusts in the Atlas highlands, the southeast, and the southern provinces.
Minimum temperatures will range between 21°C and 27°C in southern Rif, Saïss, phosphate and Oulmes plateaus, the southeast, and eastern regions, while they will be between 16°C and 22°C in other parts of the country.
Daytime temperatures will see a noticeable increase in the southern provinces, Mediterranean coast, Atlas highlands, as well as the northern and central plains.
Concerning the marine condition, the sea will be calm to slightly agitated along the Mediterranean coast and the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly agitated to rough north of Boujdour, expected to calm down during the morning.
