The police services of the Fez Security Directorate referred a 34-year-old man to the competent public prosecution office on the morning of Monday, June 16, on suspicion of his involvement in a case related to mutual violence and causing material damage to another person’s property.
According to preliminary investigation data, the suspect, along with his brother, physically assaulted an individual and vandalized his private vehicle, following a prior personal dispute between them. These acts were documented in a video that was widely circulated on social media platforms.
Police investigations led to the identification of the individuals involved and the arrest of one of them, while efforts are still ongoing to apprehend the second suspect.
The search operation carried out as part of this case resulted in the seizure of blunt objects used during the assault. The arrested suspect has been placed in custody under the supervision of the judicial investigation conducted by the competent public prosecution, in order to uncover all the circumstances and details surrounding the incident.
