In a remarkable sporting achievement, the female handball team of Ittihad Sportif Fassi achieved highly commendable results in the national championship organized by the Royal Moroccan Handball Federation. This was the team’s first official participation, featuring young players under the age of 18.
Despite being a newly formed team, the young athletes from the scientific capital demonstrated great fighting spirit, defeating well-established national teams and expressing strong ambition to represent the city of Fez with excellence, thereby affirming the prominent position of women’s sports in Fez at the national level.
In recognition of the significant efforts made by the players and coaches, the team’s management, led by Mr. Abdelhadi Sarhan, organized an honorary ceremony for the champions. The event was attended by several parents and family members, during which certificates of appreciation and symbolic awards were distributed to encourage the achievements of this sports season.
In an exclusive statement to “Fès News,” the team president expressed his great happiness with the players’ performance, emphasizing that the success is the result of hard work, technical and administrative perseverance. He also praised the vital role played by the parents through the psychological and moral support they provided to their daughters throughout the season.
