According to consistent media reports, the highest authorities have decided to dismiss Mouad Jamai, Governor of the Fes-Meknes region, and Farid Chourak, Governor of the Marrakech-Safi region, from their administrative duties, pending the issuance of an official statement confirming the decision and detailing its circumstances.
The sources indicate that the reason for the dismissal stems from the governors appearing publicly performing the Eid al-Adha sacrifice on the day of the holiday, despite a clear royal directive from His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
