Moroccan Athletic Fez (MAS) continues its preparations for the new football season with a series of significant moves regarding the technical staff and player signings, aiming to strengthen the squad and compete for titles.
According to sources following local affairs, the club’s management has entered negotiations with three foreign coaches who have continental titles to their names, in a bid to appoint a new coach to lead the team in the upcoming phase. Meanwhile, the assistant coach is expected to be Moroccan, aligning with the club’s policy of blending foreign expertise with local competence.
On the player front, the duo Ait Kharssa and Hermach are close to renewing their contracts with the team, which will enhance stability within the squad. Additionally, the management has reached a preliminary agreement with three strikers, including a foreign forward, as part of the club’s efforts to bolster the attacking line with new players capable of making a difference.
In related news, the club announced that training will commence on Monday, June 9, with the team set to enter a preparatory camp in a coastal city starting June 16, in preparation for upcoming competitions.
Furthermore, MAS’s management has settled outstanding dispute cases, amounting to 3.8 billion centimes, before the start of June. This step aims to create a stable environment for the team as the new season begins.
