Rabat, Morocco – The General Directorate of Meteorology has released its weather forecast for Wednesday, May 21, 2025, anticipating varied conditions across the Kingdom with relatively high temperatures persisting in some regions.
Detailed Weather Outlook:
- Temperatures:
- Relatively hot weather is expected in the southeastern regions and the far south of the country.
- Maximum temperatures will see a slight decrease across most parts of the country.
- Minimum temperatures will range between 18 and 25°C in the southeast and far south.
- In the Atlas Mountains, lows will be between 06 and 12°C.
- Elsewhere, minimum temperatures will range from 12 to 18°C.
- Rain and Clouds:
- Local showers and isolated thunderstorms are probable over the Middle Atlas and the northern High Atlas mountains.
- The rest of the High Atlas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies.
- Tropical air masses are expected to ascend over the far southern regions in the morning.
- Fog and Winds:
- Local misty formations are anticipated during the morning and night along the Mediterranean coasts, northern Atlantic plains, central coasts, and the northern Saharan provinces.
- Fairly strong wind gusts with localized dust storms are expected over the central Atlantic plains and the south.
- Sea Conditions:
- The Mediterranean Sea will be calm (belle).
- The Strait of Gibraltar will be calm to slightly choppy (belle à peu agitée).
- North of Mehdia, the sea will be slightly choppy to choppy (peu agitée à agitée).
- South of Mehdia, it will be choppy (agitée).
