As part of strengthening cultural and artistic relations between Morocco and Azerbaijan, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Heritage Preservation Foundation of Rabat, hosted a tea party in Baku on Thursday in honor of a group of prominent female figures from the fields of culture and the arts in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event was attended by several artistic and cultural personalities, including Shafika Mamadova, the renowned actress in theater and cinema; Fidan Hajiyeva, the famous opera singer and mezzo-soprano; Amina Melikhova, the Director of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum; and Shirin Melikhova, the Director of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Fine Arts.
Also present were prominent figures from the fields of media and art, such as journalist Nadezhda Ismailova, artist Sabina Shekhlynskaya, and Asmar Babayeva, the Artistic Director of the “Azar Khalche” Foundation for the Preservation of Azerbaijani Carpets. In addition, the event was attended by several cultural officials, including Firuza Sultanzada, Director of the Republican Center for the Development of Childhood and Youth, Gunel Rzayeva, Director of the Baku Book Center, and Gulnara Khalilova, fashion designer and Director of the Azerbaijani National Fashion Center.
The event was also marked by the presence of Nuzha Aloui, the Secretary General of the Heritage Preservation Foundation of Rabat, and Aisha Bukhari, the wife of the Moroccan Ambassador to Baku, highlighting the depth of cultural cooperation between the two countries.
This event represents an important step in strengthening cultural ties between Morocco and Azerbaijan, reflecting Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and enhancing artistic and cultural exchange between the two nations.
