The city of Taza inaugurated a new administrative, health, and social unit affiliated with the General Mutual Fund for Public Administration Employees on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. This opening comes as part of the implementation of the mutual fund’s five-year strategic plan (2021-2025), which aims to improve and expand the health and social services provided to members and their dependents.
The inauguration was attended by Ibrahim Al-Othmani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Mutual Fund, Boubker Qallouh, Secretary-General of the Taza Provincial Council, and several local elected officials. Al-Othmani confirmed that the opening of this unit represents an important step towards enhancing and expanding the medical and administrative services provided by the mutual fund in the region, noting that the implementation rate of the five-year plan has exceeded 95%.
The new unit offers various administrative services, including the reception and classification of medical files, as well as medical services such as general check-ups, dentistry, and optometry. Over 4,300 individuals, including members of the mutual fund and their dependents in Taza, as well as members of affiliated mutual funds, will benefit from these services, which aim to improve healthcare standards in the region.
The unit was built on a total area of 219 square meters, spread over two floors, and is staffed with a qualified team of 14 administrative, medical, and paramedical professionals. This modern infrastructure will provide diverse services that meet the needs of members in the region, aligning with the goals of the five-year plan to enhance health and social services across various regions of the kingdom.
