Meknes, April 12, 2025 – Moulay Ismail University in Meknes has issued an official statement announcing the suspension of classes and the closure of all facilities in three of its affiliated faculties during the period from April 14 to 16, 2025.
The statement indicated that the university received a request last week to organize an activity within its institutions. However, the submitted request was neither initialed nor signed, and it was found that the organizing entity was not authorized to conduct such activities.
After consultation with the heads of the university institutions and out of concern for the higher interest of the students and ensuring sound conditions for academic achievement, the university administration decided not to authorize the organization of the aforementioned activity.
The institutions affected by the decision to suspend classes are:
- Faculty of Law, Economics and Social Sciences
- Faculty of Arts and Humanities
- Faculty of Sciences
In its statement, the university emphasized that this decision comes to avoid any potential repercussions that could affect the normal course of study and the interests of the university institutions’ users.
