On Wednesday, March 19, police forces from the Regional Security District of Biougra, in coordination with the General Directorate of National Territorial Surveillance, arrested a 19-year-old man suspected of engaging in reckless and exhibitionist driving on public roads, thereby endangering the safety of road users.
The arrest followed the detection of videos circulating on social media platforms, showing an individual riding a motorcycle in a dangerous and exhibitionist manner, posing a clear threat to both his own safety and that of others. Intensive investigations led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspect in the rural area of “Ait Amira” in the Chtouka Ait Baha province.
The investigation also resulted in the seizure of the motorcycle used in these illegal activities. It was revealed that the vehicle lacked proper documentation, including a license plate and mandatory insurance. The motorcycle was subsequently impounded at the municipal pound for further legal action.
The suspect has been placed under judicial investigation, supervised by the relevant public prosecutor’s office, to clarify all circumstances surrounding the case and to determine the full extent of the criminal acts attributed to him. These measures are part of ongoing efforts by security authorities to combat dangerous behaviors on public roads and to protect the lives and property of citizens.
