Amid ongoing tensions at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in Meknes, sources close to the Dean of the Faculty revealed to Fes News that the current escalation is merely an attempt by union groups to exert illegal pressure on the administration, aiming to influence decisions and destabilize the institution.
The same sources clarified that the administrative decision to transfer employee “R.B.” was made as part of an internal restructuring to enhance administrative efficiency, denying any personal targeting of the concerned employee. They emphasized that all procedures followed comply with legal frameworks, and no entity—regardless of its nature—has the right to impose control over the institution’s management or interfere in administrative decisions.
Additionally, the sources pointed out that the actions of certain union groups have exceeded legal boundaries, as they apply undue pressure on the administration in an effort to impose their own agenda, which the faculty leadership considers unacceptable.
Despite the ongoing controversy, the sources confirmed that the dean remains open to dialogue within the legal framework, but will not tolerate any actions that disrupt administrative operations or hinder the normal functioning of the institution.
