On Thursday, February 27, 2025, the Government Council met under the chairmanship of Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, where its agenda was devoted to deliberating on a number of draft legal texts, in addition to approving a set of appointments to senior positions, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
Appointments in the Agriculture and Fisheries Sector
At the level of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forestry – Agriculture Sector, the following appointments were approved
Majid Lahlou – Inspector General.
Zakaria Yacoubi – Director of Irrigation and Preparation of the Agricultural Field.
Hicham Rahali – Director General of the National Office for Agricultural Consulting.
Jawad Bahaji – President of the General Council for Agricultural Development.
As for the fisheries sector, the appointments included:
Ibrahim Boudinar – Secretary General.
Abdallah El Mostater – Director of Fisheries.
Hassan Fellali – Director of Public and Legal Affairs.
Elham Mennouni – Director of Strategy and Cooperation.
Mohamed Njeih – Director of the National Institute for Research in Fisheries.
Appointments in the Higher Education and National Education Sector
The Council also approved the appointment of Mr. Souleymane Mehdad as Director of Budget and Public Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation.
In the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, Mr. El Houcine Kaddadh has been appointed Inspector General.
These appointments fall within the framework of strengthening governance and improving the performance of the concerned sectors, with the aim of achieving the developmental and strategic objectives that the government seeks to implement.
