According to local sources, the victim is the son of a police brigadier general who is the head of a security department in the city, and was on his way home after finishing a sports session at the Al-Khatatif stadium.
Preliminary data indicate that the incident occurred against the backdrop of a fight between a group of boarding students and others from a neighboring neighborhood, where the young man was severely injured, which led to his death.
The incident alerted the security authorities, who opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident and uncover those responsible for this horrific act.
