Local sources have reported that this phenomenon has become more widespread in some working-class areas, particularly in the Sidi Baba and Merjan neighborhoods, where the sound of firecrackers has become a constant source of concern for residents.
Several citizens have expressed their displeasure with the parties involved in distributing these prohibited items, particularly some retail shops that sell them to children without any regard for their dangerous nature.
In this context, the residents have called on local authorities and security forces to intensify monitoring and take strict measures against firecracker distributors, whether within the neighborhoods or through wholesale shops, in order to curb this phenomenon and ensure public safety.
