On February 21 and 22, 2025, the Palais des Congrès in Fez hosted a national symposium on “Commercial origin between practice and law”, with the participation of a group of judges, notaries, and specialists in commercial law.
The event was organized by the Moroccan Observatory for Legal Studies and Research in Business Law, the Commercial Court of First Instance of Fez, the Regional Office of the Club of Magistrates of Morocco, the Regional Council of Notaries of Fez-Safrou-Taza, and the Master of Legal Studies and Justice Professions.
In a statement on this occasion, Ms. Hajiba Bokhari, President of the Commercial Court of Fez, stressed that this seminar comes within the framework of the court’s openness to its professional and legal environment, to discuss current issues in the field of commercial origin, especially in light of the legal developments and new developments in the sector.
She added that the aim of this meeting is to address the practical issues facing practitioners in commercial and judicial life, and to search for effective solutions to enhance legal and commercial security.
The seminar witnessed extensive discussions on the legal and practical aspects of the commercial asset, with the participation of specialists who provided analytical interventions on legislative developments, jurisprudence, and challenges facing actors in this field, making it an important milestone in the establishment of a more open and effective legal culture.
