Within the framework of promoting legal debate on current issues in business law, the Palace of Conferences in Fez hosted an important national symposium entitled “Commercial Origin between Law and Practice” on February 21 and 22, 2025.
The symposium was organized by the Moroccan Observatory for Legal Studies and Research in Business Law, in partnership with the Commercial Court of First Instance of Fez, the Regional Office of the Club of Moroccan Judges in Fez, the Regional Council of Notaries of the Fez-Meknès region, and other legal and academic institutions.
The event aims to shed light on the practical issues related to commercial assets, in light of the challenges faced by practitioners both in the courts and in the commercial community, and seeks to provide legal and practical approaches to develop practices and enhance legal security in the commercial field.
The seminar was attended by judges, lawyers, notaries, university professors, and legal experts, who discussed various topics related to the legal and regulatory framework of the commercial asset, in addition to reviewing recent jurisprudence and the practical challenges posed by the topic.
This meeting represents a valuable opportunity to promote dialog between different legal and economic actors, contributing to the realization of effective and solid commercial justice.
In this context, Mr. Nazem El Khodr, President of the Regional Office of the Moroccan Judges Club in Fez, said that the national symposium on “Commercial Assets between Practice and Law” represents an important opportunity to deepen the discussion on legal issues and practical issues related to this vital topic.
He stressed that the organization of this event reflects the keenness of judicial and professional authorities to keep abreast of legal developments and strengthen bridges of communication between judges, notaries and professionals, which contributes to the development of legal practices and ensure efficient and effective justice.
