Kenitra – The Royal Police Institute in Kenitra organized a symbolic reception on Friday, February 14, for 79 students from a local educational institution in the city. This visit is part of the communication initiatives undertaken by the General Directorate of National Security to promote the concept of “Citizen Police” and strengthen the relationship between the security institution and its community surroundings.
The reception was overseen by the director of the Royal Police Institute, attended by security training staff, as well as teaching and administrative staff from the educational institution. During the visit, the students took a comprehensive tour of the institute’s facilities, where they were introduced to modern training programs and advanced methods used in police training. The visit also included detailed explanations and practical demonstrations by specialists, giving the students an up-close understanding of the nature of police work.
This initiative falls within the framework of the open-door policy adopted by the General Directorate of National Security, which aims to bring the police institution closer to citizens, particularly young people, and to strengthen trust between national security and various components of society. These visits also seek to instill the values of citizenship and raise awareness about the role of the police in protecting individuals and property, reflecting the strategic direction of national security toward community integration.
For their part, the accompanying educational staff expressed their appreciation for this initiative, emphasizing that such visits help broaden students’ horizons and enhance their awareness of the importance of security work and its role in achieving societal stability.
