On Sunday, January 12, 2025, a partnership agreement was signed between the Fes-Meknes and Rabat-Salé-Kenitra swimming leagues in the city of Salé. This strategic initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and exchange of expertise between the two leagues, with the goal of advancing the sport of swimming in Morocco.
The signing ceremony was attended by prominent figures in the swimming field, including the President of the Royal Moroccan Swimming Federation, Idriss Hassa, the Secretary-General of the Federation, and members of the management committees of the involved leagues, along with their directors. The agreement, signed by Youssef El Hawat, President of the Fes-Meknes League, and Hassan Rassili, President of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra League, seeks to enhance cooperation between the regional leagues to elevate the level of swimming in Morocco.
The signatories emphasized that this partnership holds great potential for the development of Moroccan swimming, especially given the well-established infrastructure of the involved leagues, which enables the provision of advanced training programs. Through this partnership, an annual program will be implemented, focusing on training, education, and guidance for practitioners, with the aim of developing the skills of swimmers across all age groups.
