A series of massive wildfires in Southern California has devastated large areas of Los Angeles, resulting in the deaths of five people and causing extensive damage to thousands of residents who were forced to flee their homes. Among those affected are numerous Hollywood celebrities who lost their residences to the raging flames.

These fires are considered one of the largest natural disasters the region has faced, destroying over 1,900 structures, including homes belonging to stars like Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore, and Paris Hilton. More than 130,000 people have been forced to evacuate, including residents from famous areas such as Santa Monica and Malibu.

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis expressed her sorrow on Instagram, stating, “My community and possibly my home are burning.” Meanwhile, Mandy Moore shared her feelings of loss, noting that her family had to evacuate due to the approaching flames. Paris Hilton also conveyed her deep sadness over losing her home, which was filled with memories.

The fires have not only impacted homes but have also led to the postponement of several important events in Hollywood, including the Academy Awards ceremony. The announcement of nominations has been delayed until January 19.

Amid this disaster, firefighting teams continue their efforts to control the fires that threaten the lives and homes of residents.
