On Thursday, December 26, 2024, a roundtable titled “Toward Fair Education: Discussing Framework Law 51-17 and Gender Stereotypes” was held in Fez as part of efforts to promote gender equality in Morocco’s education system. The event, organized by the Initiatives Association for Women’s Rights Protection in partnership with the Moroccan Association for Women for Democracy, brought together academics, experts, and stakeholders for a constructive dialogue addressing gender-related issues in education.
The discussions highlighted the challenges posed by gender stereotypes and their role in deepening inequalities within the education system, thereby limiting the opportunities for equitable education for all.
