Despite significant challenges, particularly the shortage of human resources, Dzeiri emphasized that the department had delivered commendable results.

Dzeiri explained that the department’s activities span critical areas such as food safety, worker protection, housing health improvements, institutional health, and environmental monitoring. He highlighted the department’s efforts in rabies prevention, reporting that vaccines have been administered according to the new five-dose protocol spread over weekly intervals. Through these efforts, a total of 13,124 individuals have been vaccinated, reflecting the department’s strong commitment to combating this dangerous disease.

Support was also extended to 643 death cases, including 20 from outside Fes.

In his concluding remarks, Dzeiri expressed satisfaction with the department’s performance, attributing its success to the unwavering dedication of its staff, who continue to perform their duties efficiently despite limited numbers. He called for additional personnel to improve service quality and enhance the department’s capacity to meet growing demands.

Dzeiri stressed that these achievements were made possible through robust cooperation among all parties involved, including staff members and ongoing support from relevant authorities.
