The sixth round of the Moroccan football league witnessed an exciting match between Maghreb Fez and Difaâ El Jadida, ending with a narrow victory for the former. The match took place on Saturday amid a highly competitive atmosphere.
Youssef Anwar managed to score the only goal of the match for Maghreb Fez through a penalty kick in the 83rd minute, granting his team three valuable points. The match had seen additional excitement in the second half when Youssef Fatine of Difaâ El Jadida missed an opportunity to put his team ahead by failing to convert a penalty kick in the 50th minute.
With this result, Maghreb Fez’s tally rose to 10 points, occupying the fourth position in the league table. On the other hand, Difaâ El Jadida’s points remained frozen at 7, keeping them in twelfth place.
In another match within the same round, Ittihad Tanger and Club Meknès drew 0-0. This result increased Ittihad Tanger’s points to 10, placing them in third position, while Club Meknès now has 6 points, occupying the thirteenth place.
