Rabat – The Maghreb Arab Press Agency reported today that His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence and sympathy to the family of the late journalist Belaid Bouimid, one of the pioneers of sports journalism in the kingdom.
In his message, the Moroccan monarch expressed his deep sorrow for Bouimid’s passing, praising his distinguished professional career and notable contributions to the development of sports media in Morocco.
His Majesty highlighted the important role played by the deceased in enriching the national sports media landscape, recalling his high professional competence, broad culture, and creative ability.
King Mohammed VI also recalled the personal qualities of the late journalist, praising his good manners and sincere patriotism.
His Majesty offered his heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of sympathy to the family of the deceased, his friends, and the Moroccan media and sports community at large. He prayed to Allah Almighty to welcome the departed in His vast paradise and grant patience and solace to his loved ones.
The Moroccan sovereign concluded his message with a Quranic verse that encourages patience and acceptance of Allah’s will in such painful situations.
It is worth noting that the passing of Belaid Bouimid represents a significant loss to the Moroccan media and sports scene, given his valuable contributions throughout his long professional career.
