COD Meknès suffered a 2-0 defeat against Jeunesse Sportive Soualem in a match played on Sunday at the Municipal Stadium in Kenitra, as part of the third round of the Botola Pro D1 “Inwi” football league.
The match took a turn when COD Meknès player Adnane Berdad was sent off in the 45th minute, leaving his team at a numerical disadvantage. JS Soualem capitalized on this situation, with Taoufik Razko opening the scoring in the 48th minute of the game.
In stoppage time, Lahcen Dahdouh added a second goal for JS Soualem in the 94th minute (90+4), confirming their team’s 2-0 victory.
Following this result, JS Soualem climbed to fourth place in the league table with 4 points, while COD Meknès remained in 14th place with just one point.
