Rabat, Morocco – The Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education, and Scientific Research is scheduled to announce on Friday, July 19, the results of the remedial session for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The Ministry had previously announced the final results of the regular session of the 2024 Baccalaureate examinations, following the completion of deliberations by the regional academies of education and training.
245,881 candidates successfully passed the tests of this regular session, including 143,366 female students. The number of successful baccalaureate graduates increased compared to the 2023 session, with a pass rate of 67.8%, which is 8% higher than the previous year.
The success rate for female students reached 72% among all female candidates who took the exams, while this rate was 62.6% for male students.
According to data from the supervising ministry, the total number of successful candidates among registered and independent students was 148,362, representing 54% of all passes.
It’s worth noting that these results reflect a significant improvement in the performance of Moroccan students, especially females, indicating the effectiveness of efforts to develop the education sector in the kingdom.
